FAQ
These are common questions people have when considering seeking chiropractic care. Please feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns you may have.

Why is there a popping sound when a joint is adjusted?
A popping sound can be made when a joint is adjusted (or manipulated), resulting in a gas bubble being released between the joints. You experience the same thing when you crack your knuckles. Gas bubbles are released as a result of pressure changes within the joint. In most cases, discomfort is minimal, if any at all.

How Quickly Does It Work?
It may take several adjustment sessions for some people to notice improvements, while others may find relief immediately.

Is chiropractic treatment safe?
Chiropractic care has long been recognized as a safe, noninvasive method of treating neuromusculoskeletal conditions without requiring the use of medications that are generally harmful to the body.

How is a chiropractic adjustment performed?
During the chiropractic doctor's intensive years of chiropractic education, the skills of chiropractic adjustment and manipulation are highly refined. To restore or enhance joint function, chiropractors use their hands or instruments to manipulate the joints of the body, especially the spine.

What conditions do chiropractors treat?
Patients of all ages with a variety of health conditions are treated by chiropractors. In particular, they use their highly skilled manipulations or chiropractic adjustments to treat patients with back pain, neck pain, and headaches.

Is chiropractic treatment ongoing?
Patients must visit the chiropractor several times due to the hands-on nature of chiropractic treatment. In order to receive chiropractic treatment, a patient must visit the chiropractor's office.
